Celebrate one of the world's most recognised characters with the officially licensed 2026 Hello Kitty Stamp and Coin Cover from The Perth Mint.

Created by Japanese company Sanrio in 1974 and first appearing on a small vinyl coin purse, Hello Kitty has grown far beyond children's merchandise — into fashion, art collaborations, theme parks and more — to become one of the most beloved symbols of kawaii (cute) culture in the world.

The coloured reverse portrays Hello Kitty in her pink overalls and iconic red bow, set against a background of stars and dots, with the inscriptions 'HELLO KITTY' and ©2026 SANRIO. The uncirculated aluminium bronze coin is presented in a beautifully illustrated card with a circular window revealing both the reverse and obverse designs. Affixed to the cover is an official Australia Post stamp, postmarked for the first day of issue, together with Australia Post's Seal of Authenticity.
