Celebrate friendship with the officially licensed 2026 Hello Kitty & Friends Stamp and Coin Cover from The Perth Mint.

Hello Kitty is a globally recognised character created by the Japanese company Sanrio in 1974, designed by illustrator Yuko Shimizu. Over the decades her circle of friends has grown into a warm and diverse group of companions — Pompompurin, Keroppi, My Melody, Cinnamoroll and Badtz-Maru. From calm, happy moments with Pompompurin to Keroppi's playful energy, My Melody's gentle bond and Cinnamoroll's shy sweetness, even the cheeky Badtz-Maru belongs — showing that Hello Kitty embraces everyone for who they are. Together their friendships celebrate kindness, fun and the beauty of being different while staying connected.

The coloured reverse portrays Hello Kitty in her pink overalls and iconic red bow alongside her group of friends, set against a background of stars and dots, with the inscriptions 'HELLO KITTY AND FRIENDS' and ©2026 SANRIO. The uncirculated aluminium bronze coin is housed in a beautifully designed card with a circular window revealing both the reverse and obverse designs. Affixed to the cover is an official Australia Post stamp, postmarked for the first day of issue, with Australia Post's Seal of Authenticity.
