Welcome the Year of the Goat with the 2027 Australian Lunar Series III 1oz Silver Proof High Relief Coin from The Perth Mint. Struck from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver, this high relief proof coin is minted on concave surfaces on both sides, giving the design remarkable depth and sculptural detail.

The reverse shows a mature goat, a young goat and a baby goat grazing peacefully beneath a flowering plum blossom tree. The scene reflects the traditional saying "Three Goats Bring Bliss", a symbol of winter giving way to spring, renewal and prosperous new beginnings, while the plum blossom stands for purity, resilience and hope. The design also features the Chinese character for 'Goat', the inscription 'GOAT 2027' and The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark. The obverse carries the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III.

In the lunar calendar, the Goat is the eighth animal of the zodiac. Those born in Goat years (2027, 2015, 2003, 1991, 1979) are said to be gentle, creative and compassionate. With a maximum mintage of just 3,888 coins worldwide, it's a beautiful addition for lunar collectors and a meaningful gift for anyone born in the Year of the Goat.
