Three goats graze beneath a plum blossom tree on this coin: a mature goat, a young goat and a baby goat. Together they illustrate the auspicious Chinese phrase ‘Three Goats Bring Bliss’, a wish for the arrival of spring and prosperous new beginnings.

The Beijing International Coin Exposition 2027 1/2oz Silver Gold-Plated Coin in Card is an exclusive Perth Mint release for the Year of the Goat. Those born in Goat years are said to be gentle, creative and compassionate.

The gold-plated reverse also features the Chinese character for ‘Goat’, the inscription ‘GOAT 2027’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. Presented in an illustrated card, it is a meaningful Chinese New Year gift and a distinctive Perth Mint silver coin for lunar collectors.
