Full of woodland charm, the 2026 Squirrels $1 Gold-plated 1oz Silver Proof Coin captures two red squirrels at home among the oak branches.

Struck from one ounce of 99.9% pure silver to Proof quality, the reverse shows one squirrel clutching an acorn in the foreground while a second clambers along a branch behind, framed by oak leaves and a glowing golden disc. Selective gold plating brings out the squirrels' fur and the acorns against the mirror-bright silver, giving the design real warmth and depth. The obverse carries the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III.

Issued as Niue legal tender, each coin comes in a presentation case with an oak-leaf themed outer box and a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. With a worldwide mintage of just 600, it's a lovely addition for wildlife and nature coin collectors.
